Just in a nick of time. The painting in the kitchen is starting and the concern over the lacquer based smell is a good one. That stuff can be really strong. Today the new, giant, blue light emitting machine arrived.

I think the kids were kinda put off by it, space ship and all. They both were up for quite awhile last night, though in the end it produces a great amount of white noise and does an excellent job of keeping the air clear. If there is any benefit from having these very disrupted, lengthy going to sleep evenings it is the fact that everyone sleeps in to a certain degree, I mean 7:30-8am wake ups for a family that has a four year old and a sixteen month old is really quite a luxury.
