Day Nine

Off to a rocky start, Lil just seems a bit off. Hard to tell with a fourteen month old whats going on sometimes. Last night was the calmest it has been in the house in a while at bedtime, Mom was able to come home and have dinner and able to have serious quality time with both kids at bedtime, still much later than it was a few weeks ago (or so it seems), but it was a quiet peaceful house by 8;30pm and for that I am eternally thankful.

Today is a Target and Trader Joes day, another contractor comes at nap time and then I think we will hit the Virginia Splash Park!

How can a house get so messy, so quickly by such small people? Oh well, guess i will be busy this afternoon…

I am a professional photographer by trade. I have asked another person to take a picture for me perhaps three times in my life. This one was too important to miss. The coveted Target Mobile photographed by an un named 12 year old boy in the Lego aisle.

At one point I heard Lil making her exclamatory “Ha!” sound which means either “What is that, come see me, or just I am alive!!!”, I walked over and found her with a green plastic basket on her head, I acknowledged her, went back to my laundry folding, next thing I know she has scrambled up into the house and appears in the doorway with the new “hat” on. I picked her up and offered to take it off. She would have none of it. That hat was staying on her head all through bath time.
