Mommy days are hard, Mommy days are a blessing, Mommy days are what make the whole week worth while. But this Mommy weekend had a special moment that resonates.

Luke has been getting increasingly aggressive and we know it is all a build up of feelings about the fact that after four years of continuous love, support, presence of mind, Mommy was just not around as much all the sudden.

Last night Mom gave Luke a special charm pendent so Luke could have a piece of her always around his neck. It was beautiful, simple and it made a huge difference. This (day sixteen) morning saying goodbye to mom was the easiest one yet for the kids and perhaps the hardest one yet for Dad.
