Luke came home from school one day and said:
“I learned how to play chess today”
Now, there are many things that Luke says about fully comprehending a new concept that I am familiar with, lie “I know how to count how many atoms there are in my hand”, so I figured he had started learning the relatively complicated rules of chess.
The next day I bought a chess board and brought it home, after school we played chess. He almost beat me.
HE KNOWS HOW TO PLAY CHESS after two days of learning?
Sure, I chalk it up to the amazing elasticity of the young mind, but c’mon, chess? I mean I think that is pretty cool.
